Writers Guild of America - Best written American Musical. Oscar for Best Music, Scoring of a Musical. LUSTY, MIRTHFUL GIRL-STEALING MUSICAL!...with seven Great Songs! Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, goes to town to get a wife. He convinces Milly to marry him that same day. They return to his backwoods home. Only then does she discover he has six brothers - all living in his cabin. Milly sets out to reform the uncouth siblings, who are anxious to get wives of their own. Then after reading about the Roman capture of the Sabine women, Adam develops an inspired solution to his brothers' loneliness. The show is fun, fast-paced, sometimes raucuous, sometimes sweet, always entertaining.

in 1978.
The purpose of Fountain
Square Players is:
To provide for the production,
appreciation, and enjoyment of all phases of the theater.
To maintain the highest
possible production quality.
To provide and promote
training in all phases of theatrical production outside of, and in addition
to, that provided by our primary and secondary school system.
Fountain Square Players
constantly welcomes newcomers, as well as the continued participation of our
numerous talented "regulars". We welcome new
performers and tech crew every year. Why don't you come out and
join us?

and Studio are located at:

Bowling Green, Kentucky
Rehearsals are usually held
weekday evening during the six weeks prior to performances. In addition to
acting, many volunteers are always needed in a wide variety of back stage and
administrative jobs, such as: Director, Assistant Director, Stage Manager,
Props, Costumes, Set Crews, Lights Operators, Sound Operators, and much more.
We build and paint sets on
Saturdays, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
