Fountain Square Players was incorporated in 1978.The purpose of Fountain Square Players is:
To provide for the production, appreciation, and enjoyment of all phases of the theater.To maintain the highest possible production quality.
To provide and promote training in all phases of theatrical production outside of, and in addition to, that provided by our primary and secondary school system.
Fountain Square Players constantly welcomes newcomers, as well as the continued participation of our numerous talented "regulars". We welcome new performers and tech crew every year. Why don't you come out and join us?
The Fountain Square Players Scene Shop and Studio are located at:
313 State Street Bowling Green, Kentucky Rehearsals are usually held weekday evening during the six weeks prior to performances. In addition to acting, many volunteers are always needed in a wide variety of back stage and administrative jobs, such as: Director, Assistant Director, Stage Manager, Props, Costumes, Set Crews, Lights Operators, Sound Operators, and much more.
We build and paint sets on Saturdays, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
